The 2550th Nirvan Mahotsav of Bhagwan Mahaveer is being celebrated as a festival, which is being organized as a year long “Ahimsa Mahotsav”. This occasion is not only for the people of Jain community but for every section of the society, who understands the importance of non-violence and wants to follow it in their life.
Bhagwan Mahaveer Nirvan Mahotsav Committee (Regd.) is a special organization which has been formed to plan and organize this festival. The objective of this committee is to spread the life and principles of Bhagwan Mahaveer among the people, so that they follow the core values of non-violence and harmony.
The main objective of this festival is to make humanity understand the importance of Bhagwan Mahaveer’s messages by dedicating them to his life and his principles of non-violence and kindness. To mark the occasion, the Committee has planned various cultural, religious, and educational programs emphasizing the basic principles of non-violence. Along with this, efforts are also being made to spread awareness about non-violence and promote the feeling of goodwill and harmony among the people.
The festival is a storehouse of diversity despite a common objective and is playing an important role in spreading the principles of Bhagwan Mahaveer. Through this, people are being reminded of a very important message – non-violence is the true power and we all should make it a part of our lives.
To commemorate the 2550th Nirvan Mahotsav of Bhagwan Mahaveer Ji, the Government of India has decided to issue this special Commemorative coin.

- Any complaints regarding non-receipt of coins must be reported to the concerned department within 30 days from the dispatch date.
- Replacements are not feasible after 30 days from the dispatch date & any requests for the same will not be entertained.
4) शिपिंग हानि और वापसी नीति
- यदि वस्तु पारगमन के दौरान खो जाती है, तो बीमाकृत वस्तु होने के कारण, डाक विभाग से खोई हुई वस्तु के लिए मुआवजा राशि प्राप्त होने के बाद ही रिफंड या प्रतिस्थापन सिक्का सेट के दावों पर विचार किया जाएगा।
