संसद संकुल में नई इमारत भारत की पहली उद्देश्य-डिज़ाइन की गई संसद है। यह स्थान, बुनियादी ढ़ांचे और सुरक्षा मानकों के मुद्दों को हल करने के लिए डिज़ाइन किया गया है जो वर्तमान संसद भवन द्वारा सामना किया जाता है। ऐसा करने में, यह भारत के शासन के बुनियादि ढ़ांचे के आधुनिकीकरण और एक राष्ट्र में हमारे विविध लोगों के सहसंयोजन का प्रतीक है।
नई इमारत को कुशल संसदीय कामकाज की वर्तमान और भविष्य की जरूरतों को पूरा करने के लिए डिज़ाइन किया गया है।
नए भवन में लोकसभा में 672 और राज्यसभा में 384 लोगों के बैठने की क्षमता होगी। इसके अलावा, दोनों सदनों के लिए चार सार्वजनिक दीर्घाएं जनता को सांसदों की बहस और संसद की कार्यवाही देखने में मदद करेंगी।
संसद भवन से सटे एक त्रिकोणीय भूखंड पर स्थित, 65,000 वर्ग मीटर के निर्मित क्षेत्र में नई इमारत के कुशल उपयोग के लिए डिज़ाइन किया गया। इसमें लोक सभा कक्ष, राज्य सभा कक्ष, एक आंगन, पुस्तकालय, कार्यालय क्षेत्र, भोजन क्षेत्र और संविधान हॉल और गैलरी- एक सार्वजनिक रूप से सुलभ स्थान है।
प्रतिबद्धता का प्रतीक है। नए भवन का डिज़ाइन भूकंप प्रुफिंग के संदर्भ में उच्चतम सुरक्षा मानकों को प्राप्त करता है।
भवन में नवीनतम ऑडियो-विजुअल सिस्टम से लैस अत्याधुनिक समिति कक्ष भी होंगे। इसके अलावा, भवन में कार्यलय होंगे जो सुरक्षित, कुशल होने के लिए डिज़ाइन किए गए हैं और नवीनतम संचार प्रौद्योगिकी से लैस है।
भारत की निर्माण विरासत को प्रतिबिंबित करने वाले विवरणों को वास्तुकला में शामिल किया गया है और राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर मान्यता प्राप्त प्रतीकों को भवन के आंतरिक डिज़ाइन में रूपांकनों के रूप में उपयोग किया गया है।
संसद संकुल में नई इमारत में 700 वर्ग मीटर के खुले आसमान के आंगन में एक बरगद का पेड़ है, जो ज्ञान और दीर्घायु का प्रतीक है और भारत का राष्ट्रीय वृक्ष है। भवन के भित्ति चित्र और पैनल देश की सदियों पुरानी लोकतांत्रिक परंपराओं को भी प्रकट करते हैं।
संसद पुस्तकालय और उपभवन के साथ दो इमारतें एक एकीकृत विधायी एन्क्लेव के रूप में एक साथ काम करेगी। संसद संकुल में नया भवन 21वीं सदी के भारत की आकांक्षा को प्रकट करता है और ‘आत्म निर्भर भारत’ के प्रतीक के रूप में स्थित होगा।
PARLIAMENT COMPLEX
The New Building in Parliament Complex is the first purpose-designed Parliament of India. It is designed to address the issues of space, infrastructure and safety standards that are currently faced by the present Parliament building. In doing so, it symbolizes the modernization of India’s governance infrastructure and the coalescence of our diverse people into a nation.
The new building is designed to address the present and future needs of efficient Parliamentary functioning.
The new building will have a seating capacity of 672 in the Lok Sabha and 384 Rajya Sabha. Further, the four public galleries each for both houses will help the public to watch the debates of Parliamentarians and the proceedings of Parliament.
Located on a triangular plot adjacent to the Sansad Bhavan, the New Building in a built-up area of 65,000 sq m is designed to make efficient use of land. It houses the Lok Sabha Chamber, the Rajya Sabha Chamber, a Courtyard, library, office areas, dining areas and the Constitution Hall and Gallery – a publicly accessible space.
The new building looks to the future. Building systems are designed to function in an integrated manner with latest technology to support parliamentary procedures and optimize the consumption of energy. This green building is a symbol of India’s commitment towards environmental sustainability. The new building’s design achieves the highest safety standards in the context of earthquake proofing.
The building will also have state of the art committee rooms equipped with the latest audio-visual systems. Further, the building will have offices that are designed to be secure, efficient, and are equipped with the latest communications technology.
Details reflecting India’s construction legacies have been incorporated in the architecture and nationally recognized symbols have been used as motifs in the interior design of the building.
The open-sky courtyard of 700 Sq m in the New Building in Parliament Complex has a banyan tree, a symbol of knowledge and longevity, and the national tree of India. The murals and panels of the building also manifest the country’s centuries’ old democratic traditions.
The two buildings, along with the Parliament Library, and Annexe will work together as an integrated Legislative Enclave. New Building in Parliament Complex manifests the aspiration of 21st century India and will stand as an epitome of ‘Atma Nirbhar Bharat’.

- Confirmed orders shall not be cancelled and no refund request shall be entertained under any circumstances.
- The value of the coin is based on the market prices of the metal and is subject to change.
- Only replacement request of Commemorative Coin shall be considered depending on the merit of the case/reason for asking for replacement (e.g. damaged coin/packaging).
- All Commemorative Coin are dispatched though India Post as insured parcel and India Government Mint, Kolkata does not take responsibility for lost in transit cases. However, India Government Mint, Kolkata shall make efforts in it’s capacity to resolve such matter in consultation with India Post.
2) Update on Customer Data:
- Customer(s) must notify us of any changes in their data within 24 hours of placing an order through email (marketing.igmk@spmcil.com, support@spmcil.com)
- Changes to the shipping address will not be accommodated once the order is processed for dispatch. Any communication in this regard will not be entertained.
3) Delivery timelines:
- Tentative Dispatch Period: around 120 working days, post-payment confirmation.
- Delivery Period: As per standard postal procedures (India Post)
- Orders are processed in the order sequence as they arrive, i.e. First in – First Out. No requests for fast tracking the order(s) will be entertained
4) Grievances and Returns:
- Any complaints regarding the non-receipt of coins must be reported to the concerned department within 15 days from the dispatch date.
- Replacements are not feasible after 1 days after receipt of coin & post that any requests for the same will not be entertained.
- Any grievances/legal proceeding shall be under Jurisdiction of India Government Mint, Kolkata.
