Ram Darbar
This vibrant and detailed composition depicts the grand coronation scene of Ram Darbar, capturing the celebratory essence of Lord Rama’s court in Ayodhya. At the center, Lord Rama and Goddess Sita are seated together upon an opulent golden throne crowned with ceremonial parasols and royal banners. Surrounding the divine couple are his devoted brothers, attendants performing regal fan services, and his revered allies—including Lord Hanuman kneeling devotedly at his feet, Jamvanta holding a lotus, and Sugriva offered in prayerful deference.
Executed in a traditional Indian folk-miniature style, the artwork uses crisp, expressive outlines and a rich, earthy color palette featuring warm yellows, terracotta reds, deep blues, and subtle greens. Framed by a classic arch motif, the balanced arrangement of figures conveys harmony, righteousness (dharma), and devotion, preserving the iconic visual narrative of the Ramayana in a timeless, folk-inspired aesthetic.
